Traditional manned aerial surveys have high capital costs and operational costs, and are cost effective only on very large scale.
Aerial mapping from a light aircraft with a Klau Geomatics solution is the sweet spot for many aerial capture requirements.

The Klau Geomatics pod is an STC approved system to carry multiple cameras and LiDAR on various aircraft, including fixed-wings and helicopters.
The pods can carry a variety of LiDAR scanners and cameras such as RGB and NIR.
A KlauPPK Manned positioning system or Brumby Controller is typically Integrated to control the sensors and generate accurate data. Both systems are compatible with the Klau Geomatics FMS.

The pod is designed and built to the specifications of Meeker Mounts which have a FAA and EASA STC (supplemental type certificate). The connection of the pod to the Meeker requires a local engineering approval (Engineering Order/Field Approval). We can help arrange the local field approval on your aircraft.
